Men's Retreat September 2019

Men's Woodland Retreat September 2019

Today I will be sharing about the men's retreat which has just passed.

10 days ago saw 5 men gather in the woods to share, to learn new things and to challenge themselves.

The theme of the weekend was the Warrior archetype.

We had men from all walks of life.

Some men had done many years of men's work.

Some it was the first time.

We were challenged - the weather was very wet. And the morning dip in the river had to navigated safely due to the high water levels.

And yet what was so beautiful to see was men stepping up.

I saw men stepping out of their comfort zones and challenging themselves.

I saw men growing and maturing. I saw men stepping into leadership roles and embodying the King archetype.

And I saw men step into their Warrior and face that which they feared.

Thank you to all the men who turned up.

Brave souls who saw the weather forecast and still came.

And thank you to our partners who supported us in doing this work.

The next woodland retreat will be in April 2020.

I will look at doing an event in December if I am able to find a suitable indoor venue. We will explore the Lover Archetype.

Love and blessings,
